Single-beam inscription of plasmon-induced surface gratings

The formation of gratings on gold nanoprisms arrays by plasmon-mediated reduction a diazonium salt is investigated. Nanosphere lithography (NSL) used to produce large surfaces that are effective at reducing salts producing hot electrons through excitation localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPRs). Using single beam irradiation, we report here the periodic structures formed from and follow NSL structures. On plasmonically active nanoprism substrates, electric field enhancement promotes chemical hence modifies grafting direction grating properties ripples. act as guide which widens pitch self-organized can even alter it straight lines into crisscross pattern. • Single irradiation forms relief grating.
